This ongoing project is a self-initiated iOS app designed for sewists to organize and track their projects all in one place. The goal was to create a useful, clean, and engaging tool that supports both casual hobbyists and dedicated makers in managing their creative process.
I began by building the basic framework of the app, focusing on visuals first, then layered in features that enhance the user experience.
The first version of the app focused on core functionality: allowing users to log and store sewing projects on their phones. From there, I expanded the experience by adding thoughtful styling, gamification features to encourage progress, and integrated calendar and notification systems to support project planning and time management.
This iterative process helped me balance technical development with user-focused design, ensuring the app felt helpful, motivating, and easy to use. Each feature was guided by real user needs, based on my own sewing habits and feedback from other creatives.
This project has strengthened my ability to build digital tools that solve real-world creative problems through intuitive design and functionality.
